Description of Divine WI$E Spending Initiative
Divine WI$E Spending Initiative in turn fosters generosity through mentoring
and empowering people in five phases of acquiring wealth and money. The Principle
of “giving back,” which is the most important of the five phases, is the keynote in our organization’s philosophy of elevating financial well–being
of humanity.
Our initiative is a city wide initiative to help the participant in becoming
savvy about personal finance and investment.
Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP
seeks to fulfill this mission by providing certified and training financial
advisors and business investors with the tools and support they need to minimize
this major statewide issue in our community.
History
In March, 2001 , the Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP determined that the average
student who graduates from high school and retirees from their place of employment
or loses their job lacks basic skills in the management of personal financial
affairs. Many are unable to balance a checkbook and most simply have no insight
into the basic foundational principles involved with earning, spending, saving
and investing.
Our people fall in the management of their first consumer credit experience,
establish bad financial management habits, stumble through lives learning by
trial and error, the Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP direct objective is to encourage
curriculum enrichment to ensure that basic personal financial management skills
are attained during the participants’ educational experience.
The wheels of
education do not need to be reinvented, they simply require balance.
Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP fosters financial literacy throughout the West
Garfield community by providing avenues and opportunities for education, information,
and materials dissemination that focus on and promote financial literacy.
The Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP was created in March 2001
by the inspiration of co-workers who were having money troubles. This organization
is designed to build, inform and educate the people about importance of financial
matters among the underprivileged population. We encourage the people to pursue
the dream they were called to do. Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP mission is
to empower to prosper in the all areas of life by making wise money investment
decisions.
Statement of Goals
Rhema Empowerment Centre' NFP goals is to empower the people
to prosper in every area in life. To help create a viable community of change
that will bring about social and economical stability, self sufficiency among
